We do not spam.

1.  The Information You Give Us

We receive and store the information provided by our users at the time of their registration or while using our service.  We require certain pieces of information, such as a valid email address and phone number to validate that the customer is a real person who can actually be reached.  We use this information to insure that our customers are protected from fraud as well as for responding to your requests, improving our services and communicating with you.  You can choose not to provide some types of information though without this information there may be features that you will not be able to use.

2.  Email Communications

In order to be able to respond to our customer's requests, we store all email requests and feedback received at Snapvine, Inc.   In addition, we log all emails that we send to our customers.   If you do not want to receive email from us, we provide a means to adjust your email preferences, including opting out of all emails from Snapvine, Inc.

3.  Financial Information

We do not store any financial information about our customers.   Since we exclusively use paypal to process payments, we do not have the need to store any financial information about the user such as credit card numbers or bank information.  We don't even ask for your address.

4.  Usage Data

In order to provide certain services to you, we store information regarding your use of the services.  For example, if you request that a message be delivered to yourself or another person, we store that request in order to fulfill the service and to provide use history information.

Snapvine, Inc. automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, Snapvine, Inc. cookie information, and the page you request.

Snapvine, Inc. does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

1.  We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Snapvine, Inc. under confidentiality agreements.  These companies may use your personal information to help Snapvine, Inc. deliver services to you.  However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information or to communicate with you directly via email or telephone, except where it is an express part of a service you requested or purchased.  

2.  We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;  We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Snapvine, Inc. Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law.

3.  We transfer information about you if Snapvine, Inc. is acquired by or merged with another company.  In this event, Snapvine, Inc. will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4.  We believe telemarketing calls are evil and therefore we will never give away, rent or sell your phone number infomation to such 3rd parties.     Please note that in order to protect you and others from unwanted phone calls, your validated phone number will be used as the caller ID for outgoing calls scheduled by you using our system.  We only place calls using your caller ID as part of fulfilling services that you request.  

5.  Certain information you give us, such as your comments within a voice forum, or your user-submitted audio or content, is provided under the Snapvine Terms of Use agreement with a worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive license to Snapvine to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform and publicly display such content or information on the service for the purposes of providing and promoting the Snapvine service.

Snapvine, Inc. may update this policy.  We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Snapvine, Inc. account or by placing a notice on our site.
