Speech and language development is not only needed by infants or children but alo needed by adults who are trying to learn their second language. Speech drills like this can be done to improve the learner's speed and articulation. The average person utters from 125 to 150 wpm. Though speech needs to maintain its speed to make the conversation clearer, and audible, articulation should also be evident.
