Wednesday's clincher marked the sixth time New York has defeated the defending champ in the World Series ... The Yankees are the first team to lead the majors in runs and homers and win the World Series since the 1984 Tigers ... Oh yea, who's your daddy ? ... ! Benz !

I am so happy that the Yankees won! I have been a life long fan. I feel so blessed this year...My Tarheels won the Final Four, and my Yankees win the World Series. What a year it has been!
