Wisdom/Worship: Prov. 20:17-30 Main read: 1 Cor. 12-15 Aired 6/30/09 In the Love Chapter (13) Paul explains that all the problems he has been discussing (role of women, human sexuality, order in the church, etc.) find their ultimate solution in the practice of love - the giving of ones self for the welfare and benefit of others. After clarifying the use of speaking in tongues (ecstatic utterance), Paul reaffirms the real, historic, bodily resurrection of Jesus from the grave. Because He lives, we too will rise to be with God forever!
