The Judas Experience (pt2)"Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the high priests to betray Jesus to them.When they heard this, they were delighted and promised to give him money. So he began to look for a good opportunity to betray him." Mar 14:10-11. Do we have a sellout price? Have we gotten tired and weary of waiting to be blessed through process and season? And has the allurement of riches becoming more and more attractive? Are we thinking compromise or have we already begun our journey to the glitter of silver? Does it come in the way of gratifying our want for creature comforts, more time for myself, more things for myself. More, more, more. Has justifying the need to please ourselves became more prioritized than the laboring of the kingdom and blindly started on the road to perdition.We cannot serve two Gods. the Bible states that we will love one and hate the other!So the true question is, what price do we have for our souls? We know that the cost of slavery to sin is high, it is death!Are we flirting with the devil to get what we want? We must understand that if we are not for Jesus then we are against Him. Judas was with Jesus, but self deceived he turned against Him. Are we for Jesus? Are we with Jesus? Are we putting on the mind of Christ? Are we praying?… Without ceasing? Are we really thankful in all things? Is Gods grace really sufficient for us? Being right, in our own sight, demands a reward… from the world and all it’s charm. Unfortunately we try to take this mind set to God… and much like Judas try to force his hand. Look what God has done for me! God is with me! Pay me and I’ll teach you…Look at what I’m building for God… doing for God… saying for God. Look I’ve got the answer… do you want to hear it… read it… or see it? Or are we saying, " I will wait until my change comes, i Know God will bring me through"?
