Well, I tried; yes last August Crazy Cocoanut Lady rode aaal de way to New Jersey to appear on American Idol. Yes ah did; ah know I'm too ole but still:) You know I does show up anyplace! I went all the way through and got in front of my love...Simon. Man those people seem to just love Cocoanut Lady; they shot soo much footage of me meking a fool out meself:) But ah just knew I was at least going to be on de outrageous auditions; man everybody thought so; I was de most outrageous outlandish one there. But tonight when ah turned on my TV nothing but 2 quick seconds of me standing in line... what happned to my rendition of De 'Banana Boat Song' I sung for waiting auditioners? What happned to de song ah sing jus' for me husband Simon? 'Naughty' What happned to me marriage proposal to one of de producers? What happened to aaaal de extra footage they mek me take? They say some of it would even be on you tube; nothing; so wa happen? Me Nah Know. I really thought Idol liked Cocoanut Lady; but something happened between last August and now. maybe ah promote meself too much? who knows? Everybody wants to be on TV and to promote. So here I am searching fo' some answers. All me family and frien' dem was on the edge of their seats looking for Cocoanut Lady tonight and nothing. I don't know what happened. Ah still searching fo' answers; ah going keep ahyo posted! Well that can't keep Cocoanut Lady down; ah have odder tings to get into. But u know what? All that footage they took of me is good funny footage that they hopefully will show some day; we'll see, if not...welll (sigh) ah still have Godfrey:) thanks my Snapvine fam Love Cocoanut Laaaady!!! yeaaaa!
