i fall asleep with his picture in my hand/ his voice in my mind/ the words he said to me/ i cry my self to sleep/ ive cried more tears tonight/ than all my tears from last week put together/ when i finnally fall asleep/ my dreams are filled with him/ i never forget what he said/ all our conversations etched in my memory/ what sweet memories they are/ oh how he made me laugh/ but then i remember/ i realize and know/ he has a girl friend/ and she is not me/ i know i can do better/ but maybe i dont want better/ maybe i dont need better/ all i want is him
